JEFF PETTENGILL
FATHER | NOMAD | PHOTOGRAPHER

I am into traveling the world and exploring all the wonders that I can track down.
Hi, I’m Jeff Pettengill—an Electrican, World Traveler, and Nature Photographer with a passport in one hand and a camera in the other. I try to live life simply so I can travel often.
I’ve never had formal training, but photography feels natural to me. It’s my way of listening—to the world, to nature, to emotion. I aim to capture moments that speak quietly but powerfully, while trying to inspire others along the way – whether it’s a distant galaxy, a forest at dawn, or a storm rolling over an open plain.
The open road, new horizons, and unfamiliar skies have been both my classroom and my sanctuary. I’ve wandered through ancient forests, stood beneath the endless night sky in remote deserts, contimplated life alongside some of the natural wonders while visiting over 20 countries so far.
This journey began during a deeply transformative chapter in my life — one marked by profound change, loss, and rediscovery. Photography became part of the journey, a passion and a way forward. A way to keep honoring the stories we carry, even when words fall short.
What I hope for with each photo is to inspire —sometimes in ways I can’t even fully explain. I sincerely value the personal connections I’ve built over the years through my electrical journeys, my life, and my travels with each person who’s been my friend or supported my work. If you are here… …You’re part of the journey too. ☆Thank you for being my friend!
